企業認証（OV／EV）では、認証局が申請組織の電話番号へ電話をかけて実在確認（コールバック）を行います。この番号は、申請組織の番号として公開ディレクトリで確認できることが条件です。

いずれかで、申請組織の名称と電話番号が一致して確認できる番号が対象になります（例：日本電話番号検索で「03-6712-6011」を検索すると「株式会社ニジモ」の番号だと確認できます）。

② 番号がまだ公開ディレクトリに載っていない場合（iタウンページへの掲載・修正）
iタウンページは無料で会社情報（会社名・住所・電話番号）の新規掲載や修正を申し込めます。反映には日数がかかるため、電話確認の前に余裕をもってお手続きください。

日本電話番号検索（jpnumber）について：こちらは公開情報や利用者投稿を集約するサイトで、事業者が自分で登録する公式フォームは基本的にありません。まずiタウンページ側に会社名と電話番号を正しく掲載いただくのが、電話確認を通すうえで確実な方法です。
③ 固定電話がない／番号を公開できない場合（意見書＝Legal Opinion Letter）
電話確認の代替として、弁護士・公証人または会計士が作成した意見書（Legal Opinion Letter）を提出いただくことで、電話確認を省略できる場合があります。意見書は認証局（Sectigo）指定の英文フォーマットで、作成者（弁護士・会計士）のレターヘッド・署名入りが必要です。作成依頼にかかる費用はお客様のご負担となります。
